Honestly, this county sounds like a nice place. No violence during this entire time. Some direct speech (which some interpreted as nasty). A recall election that was successful. Demands by the majority of the county's citizens required a few county employees leave. So what?

And a few of the masked people in the county continue to feel uncomfortable in public - well, that is everywhere, even now I see masked people where I live huddled in corners, trying to avoid any close contact with anyone, looking warily into a store before entering it, etc. These people are truly sick.

Civility went out the window? - I suppose the author of this hit piece considers the mostly peaceful BLM riots to be civil and polite...

Of course, any direct death threats should be investigated, but that's it.

Shasta County is a very, very nice place. Not a lot of money up there, but it's beautiful, peaceful, and the residents are refreshingly nice. It's sad that so much of the rest of California has such terrible residents.

If you ever get the chance, go check out Redding, and walk across their awesome pedestrian bridge. (There's other cool stuff up there as well.)
