After a man was beaten to death outside her restaurant, Lauren Boebert and staff started open carrying loaded guns. Shooters Grill in Rifle Colorado became world famous as a result. She later was elected republican representative for the state.
But now, in 2022, her landlord has refused to renew her lease, and she was forced to close this past weekend. You can no longer order a “Guac Nine” burger or “Swiss and Wesson” sandwich. My guess is that it's political because the landlord owns and operates a pot dispensary and also refuses to let Boebert continue running her campaign office from his building.
Boebert hopes to find a new location to re-open in the future.

Used to live in Battlement Mesa, went to Rifle for everything. Ate at Shooters before she ran for office. When I lived there most people were right wing, only Denver and Colorado Springs were Dems. I lived there when Colorado turned blue, sad, now it sucks and I can't live there anymore.

Saying Colorado Springs and ignoring Boulder and Pueblo, and even Telluride, is a strange thing for a greenie to do, especially one from the western slope.
