Got an email from a buddy of mine in Arizona. I thought they had that shit show under control.. Any other Arizonans experience this?
Ok, my bruthas (and sistas...to be "inclusive" in case anyone is feeling feminine today)...here we go!
Just spent an hour on the phone ripping my Senators and/or Reps (and the AZ Attorney General) a new orifice over this crap!
Yesterday, *(wife) * and I both received ballots in the mail (UNREQUESTED) for the upcoming primary elections here in AZ (in August). Two weeks ago, we both received brand new, voter ID cards in the mail (even though that's racist IMHO...lol).
So I asked (recorded messages) how on earth this can be considered SECURING OUR ELECTION PROCESSES??? Why on Earth send me a brand new (never been touched by human hands) voter ID card when I can just send in this ballot and NEVER BE ASKED TO PROVE WHO SENT IT?
Oh...and in the awesome little pamphlet that came with the ballot, it has a phone number to call if you "need a replacement ballot"!? As I asked the lovely folks that "represent" me...."what's to prevent me from calling every day between now and the election, asking for a replacement ballot, and then sending that one in under a new name...like my neighbors?"
Awaiting their answers...
Buckle your seat belts....here we go again...."
