I do not want to make it easier for them. Register as a dem, then vote republican. No vote - oh believe me, you voted for the blue candidate. Vote as a republican - your ballot has a greater than normal chance of being spoiled so as to not be counted. Vote as a dem for the rep candidate - your vote will go right though and be counted unless someone pays attention and does a late spoil or misplacement.
