Why aren't ammo manufacturing co-ops a thing? Imagine getting a check yearly based upon the sales that the ammo co-op did for the year.

Because you can't manufacture the powder and primer at scale without the fed creeping around.

True. Very similar to the, I think it was Missouri, of a .22 rifle being 100% built in and only sold to state residents. That was 10ish years ago and I can't find much on now.

I wish Arms manufacturers would cut off sales to government agencies.
