As expected - they want to make high age a no go at the next election, so people will avoid to vote for Trump, Hillary or Sanders.
I think that may very well factor into it, but (to me) it's more likely that they're trying to get Biden to admit he won't run again, which would theoretically take some of the pressure off of Dem candidates having to say whether they'd support him.
