Pay attention to how and what your children are learning. The education system has been undoubtedly dumbed-down with teacher-written assignments riddled with grammatical and spelling errors and the acceptance of sentence fragments for answers. Very little, if any, homework is assigned and most is carried out on tablets or laptops that even elementary students have learned to game by using Ctrl+F, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V. Civics and Social Studies seem sadly to be the two most homework-heavy classes and are unsurprisingly the most useless, being woefully laden with gross criticisms of Christian and Eurocentric society while greatly exaggerating the influences of "First Nations" and Africans.
