There is no such thing as "emergency powers". Power is power. Government is force. That is why the final answer to any resistance to government is always the same. Men with guns come to your door. Power is never given. It can only be taken. Or taken back. Once you grant them "emergency powers" there will never *ever* come a time again when there is *not* a "state of emergency".
