It is absolute per our Founders. It literally says, "shall not be infringed." Which makes it an absolute. Period.

[–] 7 pts

also, these rights aren't granted by government they are given to us by our Creator.

[–] 4 pts

Exactly. Our founders framed it as such to clearly communicate no man has authority to suppress these.

the problem is the current vegetable prez and his communist admin do not care what is written or what we know to be true.

this has a very high chance of sparking civil war if they push this issue to the brink.

Biden isn't a man, he is an angel doing God Obama's works.

If the phrase "shall not be infringed" were placed before any other "right"; e.g. abortion, sexual preference, immigration, you'd better believe it would be considered untouchable. Try the phrase "there's always been limitations" on any of the other supposed "rights" championed by leftists and see how far that gets you.

Sad fact is 3/5th of persons just don't consider the inherent conflicts with their own arguments.

1000% tax, so it's not infringed , it's just beyond affordability.

[–] 0 pt

Precedent says that's infringement.

For you and me, yes. For this Lawless admin? Hell no.

Somehow blm, antifa, and every other unemployed liberal group member will have brand new ones.

You made the same point I did so I deleted my comment.

Good point! Glad someone made it.

It's in cursive, therefore it might as well be written in sand on a new England beach.

Not one word about the approx. 44 people killed in Chicago per month since beginning of the year.

You know what makes this glow so much? Their tragedy just happens to be perfectly timed, and all the other mass shootings are ignored. The media gives this traction, but trust in the media has eroded so badly due to their own hands that its effect seems to be waning.

I wish they'd start door to door. But they won't. It'll just be more of the regulatory death by 6 gorillion cuts.

[–] 2 pts

As braindead and disingenuous as they are they know they'd have a full on country wide insurgency in about 2 hours of them going to door to door.

[–] 1 pt

That's because they're not actually braindead.

When it was passed you couldn’t own a cannon, you couldn’t own certain kinds of weapons. There’s always been limitations.

I would have thought someone on Biden's staff would have told him by now, you know to at least to just stop saying things easily and provably false.

He HAS to know he's lying but he either can't help himself or can't remember.

Like present day journalism, if the story is selling, the truth is irrelevant. All that matters is making the sale.

[–] 1 pt

Lying is how they made everything molded in their image.

Learn to code eo allowing propaganda etc

[–] 1 pt

You can now, and always could, own a cannon.

[–] 0 pt

when was the unconstitutional law passed saying that you can not own cannons?

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Fuck Joe Biden. The law is clear about molesting children and blackmailing countries when you are the VP of the country.

The law is clear about molesting children and blackmailing countries when you are the VP of the country.

It's also clear about drug users and felons buying guns when you're the son of the VP.

“Is not absolute”

Actually, the words “shall not be infringed” means precisely that it is absolute.

[–] 2 pts (edited )

something that is quite literally absolute as laid out in the constitution itself

Cute.

When it was passed you couldn’t own a cannon, you couldn’t own certain kinds of weapons.

Except you could and people did. the US military was supplied by private citizens during the revolutionary war

There’s always been limitations.

When it was passed...

Not a thing. The constitution included the 2nd, the 2nd wasn't "passed" as though a normal amendment.

Also fully auto guns existed back in 1775 and before. So did rifles that gook magazines. So did rifles that carried 30+ rounds.

Is anyone surprised? To him human rights, law and order, common sense, authority, conquence; justice and freedom mean nothing, while neither does he.

But not because Brandon Biden is a senile and dementia ridden creature with incognitive disabilities.

He was (((installed))); because he has absolutely no leadership ability with a fake pandemic and the most shady, oddball, out of line election cabal processes in history with support lead by Hussein Soetoro, Cuck Groomer, Jeweorge Sorrows and his handpicked fully filled cabinet of an all jewish membership featuring blacks, women and transsexuals. The bald one in charge of the minister of homeland security is the most hilarious. He looks like Dr Evil and he literally is helping to destroy the country.

[–] 1 pt

He was installed because he is a willing prostitute who will do exactly as he is told

Only consolation is that the rise of bipolar presidential power congressional insanity has been countered by a rise of state power that has reached the level of “fuck you, we will just do what we want” across most subjects.

Federal gun control increase at this point is likely not to reach the level of insanity of California’s existing measures, and completely ignored by red states.

I am happy to see the number of states telling the feds to fuck off growing.
