Why the fuck would the government need a model to allow a private corporation in the land of the free to drill for oil or refine it. As long as they are not breaking the law then there is no reason a model "likely garbage programming or a lie as in no model ever existed". We can't predict weather the day before so why would their oil production model be any better.
