Yeah I figured as much, just was clarifying my position since my initial comment probably came across a little hostile.
Thinking about it I also suspect that the Republican party says this to make it seem less threatening to White Republicans to have massive amounts of beaners flooding into their communities. "Oh but they'll vote Republican, I saw an article about it" and they aren't worried.
