This is an excellent book. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about LEO militarization and what direction things seem to be heading in. Thanks for sharing.

Are you referring to the militarization of local police? I noticed small police stations getting military hardware a long time ago that was completely unnecessary. It came with all kinds of strings attached, of course. But the local police loved the toys.

Second, police morale has been crushed. Thousands of veteran officers have retired early or quit, and recruiting enough new officers has proven impossible. Lacking support from political leaders and community members, officers have pulled back from proactive policing.

Get rid of cops, then the criminal politicians have no protection.
