I think poor people getting money is a much touted piece of the inflation picture, but a very small part in reality.
All the bubbles pumped up by monetary policy, throwing massive amounts of cash at foreign policy, excessive corporate welfare are the real drivers of inflation.
Our future is being looted our from under us through gov spending. We will pay the price. the guy standing at the register or sweeping the floor is not the problem.
It's part of the problem.
The new wealth class is "billionaire". Covid, tech and big pharma having created lots of them. Currently five dollars buys one dollar, soon ten dollars will buy one dollar's worth of goods. I guess the global left figures the only way to change the populace is to grind them into submission from every angle.
