I'm hopeful it'll be done in 6 months. The Germans gave Putin till the end of the year to finish up in Ukraine: Germans say they'll stop using Russian oil by this year and its those oil purchases that help finance the Russians' war. I think Putin can get it done in 6 months so that Germans can go back to purchases as usual and not have to stop buying. Russians will have redrawn borders.

It looks like India and China are going to step up and buy the Russian oil. Germany seems to need the oil more than Russia needs them to purchase it.
