Now if they transferred the debt to the colleges, that would be something. Don't think this will ever happen. Because that would lose them the biggest carrot that they have with the younger college crowd. They have to keep it dangling on the other side of the glass wall election cycle after election cycle.
One upside to cancelling all current and future college debt: Very very few will be willing to sign up and die for Israel.
Would massively deplete the military recruiting system. Free education in exchange for risking your life for Israel ... that's about the only carrot they have.
I'm suspecting that is the main reason that Washington won't really push this forward. They need the cannon fodder.
Even with the free college, they STILL need a 50k bonus to bring people in. The sad fact of the matter is that most people are not eligible for service. So free college would be a disaster that they would never recover from.
At the same time, the university system is not doing well. They enrollment is at an all time low. if it continues some schools will go under.
Vanguard and Blackrock thought the trillions they printed could override natural market forces.
The sad fact of the matter is that most people are not eligible for service.
They could always "fix it" by decreasing the PFT standards even furth... oh, wait...
edit: Unless you meant ineligible due to so many of them being illegal aliens.
Niggers with felonies.
Are people this gullible? He said he was going to cancel it in 2020, he had two years to do it with control of the house and Congress. And now that it's an election year it's a huge priority for them lol
