A state court has ruled that Abby Finkenauer, considered a top Democrat hoping to challenge for the Senate Seat held by Chuck Grassley can not appear on the JUne 7th primary ballot.

Finkenauer was considered by many as the Democrat’s best chance to unseat Grassley.

Jeff Stein tweeted “Former congresswoman Abby Finkenauer cannot appear on Iowa’s June 7 Democrat primary ballot for U.S. Senate. A judge ruled yesterday she failed to meet the legal signature requirement. Appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court expected.”

I would not want a senator incapable of forging the required number of petition signatures. Demonstrable lack of motivation, commitment, and problem solving ability.
