I disagree with this Lesser of two evils philosophy. If the other candidates that are running are not good candidates then we need to get someone better.
100% agree. I could have phrased my statement better to reflect my belief that Trump is probably looking at Oz as strategically the candidate with the best odds of beating McCormick.

The question is whether or not one of the lesser-known could over-take McCormick. IMO, that would be hard to do without a Trump endorsement - but I fully agree with you that the "lesser of two evils" approach doesn't serve us well and needs to end.
Why not just say, I don't like either one.
Agree - but only Trump can answer that.
I'm not thrilled about a lot of these candidates - more of the same problem we're trying to get rid of, and we don't have the luxury of mistakes at this point.
