I think this is the wrong tactic. It gives the mentally ill and shitlibs talking points. You know what would fuck them up? A bill that banned doctors and hospitals from delivering treatment for diseases and disorders of one sex to members who identify as another. No prostate cancer treatments for people who identify as women. No cervical cancer treatments for people who identify as men, etc.
The messaging is that we're passing legislation to ensure the medical community does not impose preconceived notions of gender upon patients and treats them only according to their gender identity.
