I believe that this is why Kameltoe Horseface was chosen as VP: To protect Simple Joe from being removed from office. Going by the line of succession, it looks pretty bleak, but if Joe is out of the way, it only gets worse. Back when Nixon stepped down and Ford came in as his replacement, Spiro Agnew didn't remain VP; Ford appointed Nelson Rockefeller. Now think about this: Joe gets 25th out, Kameltoe assumes the presidency, and then she appoints whom as VP? My guess would be Hilary. Maybe Kameltoe hangs out for a bit, but then she starts thinking (or whatever simple process passes for thinking for her) about how many people end up dead around the Clintons, and she decides to step down, making Hilary the president, or maybe that was the plan all along.

Nothing would surprise me at this point.

I don't know, I live in a pretty leftist part of the country, and there are a surprising number of people around here who still support that demon bitch. As for Horseface, I think it would come down to who the "masters" said she should appoint, I don't for a moment think that even the democrat party is foolish enough to leave the choice to her.

That is the scenario I hear expressed most often, but I'm not so sure it'll go down like that. Whomever Harris appoints as her new VP would need to be confirmed by a majority of both houses of Congress. I don't think Hillary has enough support left to be confirmed, especially if the RINOs take control of the House in November. A lot of the candidates running are pro-Trump.

Some of that is simply my tendency to always expect the worst, but I also have been amazed at the RINOs ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so often, that I really can't pin any hopes on them. I can't imagine that even they could screw up enough to not take back at least the house, but then again, I didn't think any sane person would vote for Joe and the idiot.

If you want to get depressed, have a look at the line of succession. It's fuckups all the way down. I think I looked last year, and there'd have to be eight or nine "accidents" before hitting someone at least semi-competent.

No. That 's the order of succession in case of a loss of leadership outside of the 25th Amendment. If Biden is ousted Harris becomes President. She then appoints a new VP. That candidate needs to be confirmed by Congress. The Speaker of the House does not automatically become the next VP.

Right. The order of succession. The 25th Amendment supersedes that. It describes the process by which a sitting President can be removed, who replaces that president (the VP), and how a replacement VP is determined.
