The idea of a utopian no or small government society envisioned by the ideology can never happen because there will always be someone willing to step into the power vacuum and wield that power against you. The only reason you don't like it is that the power the government has is being used to do things you don't like.

The real question is how did it come to be that there are gigantic corporations owned by a tiny number of financial institutions, and the answer is government with too much power.
