How is a private person who has hired you to do a job forcing you to do anything by telling you they won't hire you unless you agree to do what they ask? Why do you imagine that you have some right to force this person to pay you to do work for them? That is just completely commie to me.

The idea of a utopian no or small government society envisioned by the ideology can never happen because there will always be someone willing to step into the power vacuum and wield that power against you. Yes, I have no problem with any requirement if that's what they want to do. Again, you will never be free if your government can dictate to you with whom you must do business and how you must do business.

We're not living in libertarianism. The fact that the government has enough power to roll out lockdowns and mask mandates by itself is proof enough of that. We're living the nightmare you propose. The only reason you don't like it is that the power the government has is being used to do things you don't like.
Giving government power is like leaving a loaded gun in plain view and in reach of everyone when there are people who wish harm upon you around. Why would you do that when the potential consequences are so obvious?
