That's just a band-aid fix, tho. As soon as the "holiday" ends, gas prices immediately jump right back to where they were. Unless some real action is taken to bring energy prices back to a more useful level - like pumping our own oil - it's just going to hurt worse in 6 months.

The government doesn't want low gasoline prices .
