If you scrapped all welfare programs to include low income housing and social security and did UBI for 3rd+ generation americans you'd be rid of all 1st and most 2nd generation immigration inside of 5 years. Anyone who can survive that for 5 years is rolled into UBI. You'd peacefully displace tens of millions of people and correct fucked housing markets while also correcting the labor market and coming up for what to do with social security long term.
