BIden's poll numbers are more important to him than his principles. He knows if we stop importing Russian oil gas is going to $6 or $7 and the Democrats will be devastated in November.
Those of us in the know realize that it's all theater anyway and the Republicans will sweep in and make a lot of talk to energize the base and do absolutely nothing about anything people want addressed. You'd think after 50 or 60 years of this fake back and forth the public would get it.

This is the most demoralizing thing I've had to accept as an adult. So much time wasted trying to wake people up.
I said the other day (IRL) that none of the people I was sitting with had ever lived in the United States of America as it was intended to be. The fact that very few of them understood immediately what I meant was borderline depressing.
