If officers would have threatened to resign over these ludicrous orders would it have made a difference? I wonder.
Seems to be a problem where everyone in the service (thinking about police too) is more worried about their pension than doing what is right.

Congress, too. Nothing gets better because once you're hooked up to the trough, you don't want to let go.
