Asshole Xiden & dem fascists will have DHS go after citizens for disagreeing with their narratives about election fraud or covid fraud ONLINE. They want to prevent the societal friction dems get when their panties get all bunched up if they are challenged to THINK and look at FACTs.

DHS says 'threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence. "

'The proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions:

For example, there is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19. Grievances associated with these themes inspired violent extremist attacks during 2021."

Well Xiden, TRUST IS EARNED, and you have earned distrust.

The timing of designating online posts a 'heightened terrorist threat' needs to be sorted out, what exactly are they up to? This has gotten really vicious fast, those two narratives are crumbling faster than ever and dems are fighting harder and weaponizing the government against citizens, not just big name conservatives in media to protect these BIG LIES.

I'm seeing a lot more red herrings and loose threads lately.

Baffle them with bullshit, sure, but why the sudden 4-6 month uptick in the amount of distractions?

The surface answer is "it's the economy", or "it's elections."

But thats surface, speculation, not a serious answer.

Theres a confluence of changes in the typical variables, rate of narrative change, number of false leads, national to international change of focus, increasing hysterisis in the prevailing story about covid (backing off, and then renewing a push, and then backing off again).

My usual go to here is speculation. "Looks like things are picking up speed", or borderline premonitions of doom "something doesn't seem right about the unfolding scenario", but I'm realizing that reflex is obfuscating rather than useful.

Best estimate is something changed. Something broke.

But what, who knows.

Could speculate its any number of large simple answers here, again surface: economy, elections, collapse, ww3, oil shock, debt collapse, cyber war, false flags, new broader pandemic, stasis where we think its going to get worse but actually it stabilizes and stays shitty for a very long time, managed civil war like the fed is gunning for, a fucking asteroid a mile wide.

But ultimately, with the failed attempts, and red herrings, international propaganda machines put up an effective smoke screen, and we're reduced to probabilitistic and over-broad statements, and anything beyond that is little more than an semi-informed guess.

tl;dr

The magic eight ball says "ask again later", while someone plays "things could be better, they could always be worse" on the worlds tiniest violin, to a crowd of two dudes, bezos, and schawb, blowing each other. News at nine.

I think all the money will rush back into the u.s. now, and foreign investors see the currency wars, and look for the best of all losers among the market of fiats.

Nothing super insightful, was predicted in some comment on zero hedge like 5-10 years ago and stuck to the back of my brain until this moment.

ZH thinks the same and wrote an article about it recently.

"get everyone to bankrupt themselves, every major nation, use cheap dollars exported, for cheap imports of resources, stripping the rest of the world, and then when everyone collapses, rebuild domestically in the u.s and repeat. The last country that manages to preserve its resources the longest, while stripping everyone elses, has their domestic resources to pull from once everyones else runs dry. Last survivor takes all the chits."

There's a book I haven't read but noted with interest to consider getting hold of called The Lords of Easy Money by Christopher Leonard (I think) on how fed reserve transfers money (value) to the rich by printing money money money and raising the value of assets by having more money to chase fewer assets. In the end it works out to lower the real wage of the workers and inflate the value of the few stocks, basically leaching out the value of work/savings etc. from the middle and lower classes and making the rich class continue to get these artificial returns on their stocks via higher valuation.

Then I listened to how Soros made money - basically betting against the currency of a country and getting money for nothing (no added value, just transfer of value to him).

I don't know if it is a contest of the last country to preserve its resources, so much as the last non-patriotic money-manipulating oligarchs to preserve their resources at others' expense.
