Are there any genuine Conservatives in the Senate? Certainly not enough of them to fill the Republican half of the vetting committee, which is split 50/50 between Democrats and Republics at 11 members each.

That would be great. I hope you're right but I do not think that will be the case. There aren't enough Republicans with strong enough morals to stand in the way. The Uniparty will find a candidate.
