Some of the RNC's complaints listed in its letter include:

  • holding the first debate after early voting had begun;
  • accusing the commission of "making unilateral changes to previously agreed-upon debate formats and conditions, in some cases without even notifying the candidates";
  • "selecting a moderator who had once worked for the Democrat nominee, a glaring conflict of interest";
  • the CPD's failure "to maintain the organization's strict nonpartisanship, with a majority of its Board Members publicly disparaging the Republican nominee."

Seems like the early primary debates are designed to make the weakest Republican candidate the nominee. Which is how we wound up with Trump, because he worked that "Jerry Springer" angle so well. He still turned out to be a stronger candidate than Shillary though, because she was anointed by her party even though she was a very weak candidate, being a lifelong political hack with no real core of personality. Trump says whatever's on his mind even if it's stupid, but Shillary only says things that she believes the people she's with at the moment want to hear her say at the moment.

What Americans really want is someone with principles who stands by them. I don't even think his principles need to be in alignment with theirs, as long as he has ones that you can define. Maybe that's what really got Adolph into power, he said what he really believed when he spoke to the People.

Who did you prefer over Trump?

Rand Paul. He ran in the 2016 Primary.
