Nobody will stop them because this is exactly what they ALL want. A 9/11 style domestic terror inquiry that will justify the expansion of domestic surveillance and the placement of Whites who separate themselves from any officially supported narrative or are considered ‘right wing’, on internal domestic terror watchlists. It will increase the funding for the FBI and other alphabet agencies and will throw further funding into the private / corporate surveillance infrastructure. Why would republicans do anything to stop this? They want this as much as the left does. They will talk the talk. Fundraise on the opposition to this but will ultimately capitulate and redirect right wing anger onto more idiotic topics… Maybe a new ‘Let’s go Brandon’ line of apparel or some dead end evergreen issue, like abortion.
