Military officers should quit all their coup porn talk—either to remove a president they don’t like, or to project their own reckless, insurrectionary behavior onto their political opponents.

I don’t like the phrase “hard left” because they’re really soft and impotent.

"Far left" would have been better, but I suspect he was going for the alliteration of a 'hard left turn.'

Location on a political spectrum isn't as important as what a person is willing to do in order to acheive their goals. "Hard" meaning "we will organize like minded people to commit violence using the authority we've earned through a lifetime of working in your society" describes the cadre of inner political party members and military and law enforcement officials who are a genuine threat to the United States even if the individuals they can manipulate on an individual basis aren't. They are pawns in the creation of chaos which will in turn give rise to new order which can be equally against the constitution but in the opposite direction.

They're right...if Trump(or any non-leftist, let's be real) is elected, there will be a coup. Coups come from those not already in power, so, the left in this scenario, and they'll be led by these traitorous bastards.

Agreed, stop the coup porn, the talk and fantasies of doing one.

Either you actually do it, or you shut up about it.

Jesus Christ, It's like I'm listening to a liberal hipster tell me about that book he's going to write any day now for the umpteenth time, when he hasn't written Jack squat so far.

Stop talking about a coup, stop fantasizing about it, and get down to making it happen already, and if you never intend to do it, then just don't, step aside and let someone else do it for, if you think its never going to occur, then that's yet another reason to shut the hell up about it.

I swear that the right is full of hot air and everyone knows it, you can talk about revolution, but you'll never actually rebel, you will walk around some government building with rifles talking about shooting guards and police, but you'll never actually fire them at anyone, youll haul a guillotine to the forefront of a protest, but it's just a display that you never intend to actually put to any use for its apparent purpose.

It's not intimidating, it's gotten old fast and it's just pure cringe at this point, it's like that edgelord who can't actually live up to his edgy pretensions, or some soylent manchild acting like he's so tough and going to go out and fight the not sees when he couldn't even bear to be rude to one if they were actually face to face.

Its just cowardly to pretend to be hard, when you have no Intent or ability to actually do hard things. No one's being fooled by it anymore, they don't call your bluff, they see right through it and just ignore you as they go about whatever their business is, it's time to show them up by actually doing something, or to stop impotently fronting like you might do so ething sometime under certain circumstances that you constantly shift around on when your criteria is finally been met.
