"If Epps turns out to have been some kind of government operative, which at present is the only clean and simple explanation for his immunity, it is game over for the official “MAGA insurrection” narrative of 1/6. Epps was the day’s loudest riot recruiter, and its apparent leader of the very first breach of Capitol grounds. If Ray Epps is a Fed, the “Insurrection” becomes the “Fedsurrection” in one fell swoop."

Better. I'd bet you'd also find hired actors or people who have a history of affiliating themselves with Antifa, Democratic Socialists of America and other such groups.

Yes, FBI is in the crime business. From the same article: "The Feds paid their bottomless roster of secret operatives a whopping $548 million in 2020 alone for sting jobs all over the country. 20 percent of their informant roster is made up of “longtime informants,” who effectively make a career out of it. It’s even quite banal for longtime informants to be explicitly authorized in advance to go out and commit crimes, with federal handlers granting permission for informants to carry out 22,800 crimes in the 2011-2014 reporting period alone.

....

We don’t have public data on the volume of pre-authorized crimes beyond 2014, but we do know that FBI Director Chris Wray began doubling his “right-wing extremism investigations” in April 2020 (seven months before 1/6), the FBI and DHS issued threat assessments naming right-wing domestic extremist groups as the nation’s #1 top-priority law enforcement and terrorism threats in the summer of 2020, and that the FBI is bound by DOJ guidelines to proportion its informant roster to its threat assessments. So if January 6 turns out to be the biggest Fed-fest in US history, we can see clearly now in retrospect how “the table was set.”

Sure. This is probably why Wray went around to so many field offices after first being appointed. But I'm not so sure he's the one to blame here. We knew that, before his name entered the arena, that people like Strozk, Brennan and Page were around, quite literally preparing for the worst case scenario in case Trump got in. They didn't even hide it. In fact, the whole country was informed about it and they still get to walk around as if they didn't explicitly communicate plans to upend the decisions made by the very public they serve. So I don't really know for sure if Wray is to blame, but I do know without any doubt that the FBI is effectively an organized crime syndicate who works in tandem with a litany of entities to procure operations that often "accidentally" result in a great deal of heinous situations. Frankly, I'm tired of hearing about all of the supposed good guys in the federal faggot agencies. If they truly exist, and while I don't want them necessarily to put themselves in harm's way should they be behind enemy lines, where the fuck are they? If they truly can't reveal themselves, why don't they do counter insurgencies to hinder these kinds of operations? It's not like I don't have faith in the good guys because I sure do. But it'd be nice to have a higher percentage of them on our side at least, because so far it seems like enough of these plots aren't being foiled from my perspective.

I too wonder where are all these 'good guys' that are mentioned like a throwaway line every time the corruption is brought up?
