Here's some things I wasn't aware of that are interesting:
"But those "conservative states" only had 122 abortion providers in 2000, less than 7% of the nation's 1,819 abortion providers. "Most of those 122 providers (65) are in Texas,"
"In other words, as it stands now, conservative states reduce abortion to almost nonexistence, so a post-Roe world, at least in those states, changes little."
The left's obsession with abortion is extreme and irrational. The only good explanation for their obsession and religious fervor for abortion is religious....
A central aspect of leftist ideology is entitlement and no personal responsibility. If you have no personal responsibility it means someone else must. Historically that means the state is responsible unless they declare someone else.
Their entitlement declares they can have sex without repercussion. Should pregnancy arise, someone else should pay for it and the state should abort it. Thereby ensuring absolutely no responsibility for their personal choices and behavior. Further entitlement requires you pay for her actions. And as she is not responsible, shaming her makes you, not her, the bad person.
This is basically the crux of the feminist movement. Women are entitled to everything but responsible for nothing. Any other answer is a man's fault. Therefore warring against men is justified.
Divorce is another example. Her freedom and choice but men are required to pay for it. Single motherhood too. Her freedom, but men are required to pay for it (directly by court order or indirectly by taxation and "assistance"). In both cases the state is ensuring no accountability and no personal responsibility.
