Sigh. If I have to spend $100K+ to get the closest electric vehicle to match my needs, I will not realize any savings for approximately 15 years. In that time, my gasoline expenditure on my existing vehicle that does meet my needs will only reach approximately $42K. That looks like I'm saving approximately $58K over buying an electric. You don't know my needs or my application of my vehicle so you can't determine for me what is my best option. I have the best option and it's not with an electric vehicle.
