They are going to create a problem by making fossil fuels too expensive then say fossil fuels are too expensive so we need green alternatives to solve what they will undoubtedly call a "crisis." The electric cars are about restricting movement. Driving more than 300 miles a day is pretty much impossible. 60 to 80 minutes to go from 20% to 80%. If you have a 300 mile range, that means you're only getting 60% capacity from that charge, which means under 200 miles. They want you in an electric car, it's a lot more difficult to store the electricity for a Tesla charge than it is to store the fuel for a car. But they are going to work to make it so electric cars are cost effective. Instead of driving down prices of electric cars, they're gonna make the alternative more expensive to get you to go electric.
