Good. I’m a firm believer that if, as a US employer, you choose to hire migrant workers over local workers you damned well should pay them what you pay a US worker. Not a fucking cent less. You force employers to do this? You can watch the flow of migrant labor into this country slow to a crawl. They entice them and hire them precisely because they are cheap. Of course, this won’t happen. This is all just theatrics and politics and politics is fake and gay. Personally, my true feeling is that any employer who hires illegal migrant labor should have his business and all assets seized by the state. Their bank accounts confiscated and the money used to pay for the return of the migrants to their village of origin.
