I've been on this planet a long time. I have never seen a politician who gives (or even can give,) anybody anything even close to what they wanted.
Case in point: the Dems right now are pissed at Biden and Pelosi.
Just like we were pissed at Trump for various things.
Now, Trump is not a white supremacist. He's an old school liberal. He was big in democratic circles for a long time, but his economic views are reflective of common policy back in the Nixon Era. Trump believes in basic liberal values, but also basic business values, fair trade, basic equality for all, and America first. He believes America is the greatest country on Earth, and that America became that way through the power of American free enterprise capitalism. Trump believes in a certain basic equality of outcome - aka building the middle class.
How can a billionaire believe this? Billionaires need customers that can actually buy the products they are selling. Trump sells apartments and resort condos and hotel stays. He needs home owners and tourists with disposable incomes. He's not a slum lord. Communism does nothing for Trump. Nothing.
Also, Trump has thrived running large and very complex organizations. Most people fail when they try to do this. Management is a very professional profession, like being a doctor, it is a very deliberate set of well honed skills, usually learned the hard way. Trump graduated from a private business school and military collage. He is a trained officer similar to West Point. Trump was also further educated by New York Jews, and he had the direct financial backing of certain Jewish bankers. He has close and long term relationships with many other billionaires who share his vision of America and the world..
As an organizational leader, Trump is by far the most qualified man to run for president in my entire lifetime. It is not an accident or fluke that he has done so well in the private sector. That he lords about like Minnesota Fats is the way all the successful guys did it in America back in the day. Larger than life itself and entirely fearless. Bold.
America needs that kind of leadership, especially now. The people have fear. They need hope to rally.
What Trump did to help, briefly, was to show America what could be. He gets in there, changes a few key things, and the economy surges. Real wages were actually going up for the first time in decades. Regulations were being cut in massive numbers, business was on the rise. Globalist BS was being pushed to one side. He actually ended a couple of America's endless wars. Also, notice how the other world leaders stopped fucking with America? Restarting American oil put OPEC and the Russians back on their heels. It was a fundamental shift in Global economics.
That's what I wanted to see. That's what real Americans wanted to see too. A rising tide that lifts all boats.
Now that Trump has been out of office only a matter of months, just look at how quickly all of that other stuff has gone away. It's not just the covid. It's a massive crisis in every direction. And America's enemies are suddenly aggressive again.
The power establishment knows clearly the threat that Trump represents to them specifically. It is very close to the coming of Caesar to Rome. The train of establishment is fucking EVERYBODY in the ass. It's not just you. That's why they moved so openly against Trump. They have never before revealed their hand in such a manner in all of America's history.
Millions of Americans now realize for the first time that America is not the country they were told it was, and they are mad as hell. If there is ever going to be a real change in the status quo, this stage is required first. It's either that or we wait for the system to impload like the Soviet Union did. America may not survive that, which is precisely why the globalists are doing this to America. They want America gone.
It comes down to a world vision. Do we want a global government, with the Earth being divided into ten or so provinces, overlorded by a global technocratic (((communist))) elite? With freedom cancelled? Playing God with the human genome?
Or do we want a community of independent nation states, with local cultures preserved and celebrated, each responsible for their own regions, joining together for various mutually agreed upon global policies, such as international trading rules, environmental responsibility, etc?
Trump supports the later vision, as does Putin, and several other national leaders. Other leaders support the globalist dream, which leads to the geopolitical destruction of the nation states to be ruled by unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats.
Trump may not have been the perfect president. He is still the best president you have ever had, by far. And he was just one man. He was ONLY the president. Because of Trump, we are beginning to see for the first time just how much trouble we are really in. Hopefully that will be enough to make the difference that can save the world. The whole world saw what just happened. Protests are now happening all over the Western world as a result. Trump deeply wounded the beast.
If you think anybody is coming along to kick out the jews and the blacks and the chinks and the hispanics and the street shitters - well that is never going to happen. What might happen is for the whites to develop a clearly distinctive racial identity consciousnesses, or at least enough of one that they stop getting pushed around and start working in their own interests as a tribe again. That could happen. Awareness is growing. Whites are about the only non racist group on the entire planet. How well is that working out so far?
That said, was Trump right in pushing American patriotism instead of white nationalism? Of course he was. The country is only half white now. As president, you have to lead the whole country. Also, if you really want the entire world to stop emigrating to America, it would be far more helpful if they were to build the American dream in their own countries. Then there is no reason to leave. Then the entire planet also has a middle class, freedom, and upward social mobility.
That is what the tyrants fear most of all. The world looks at America, sees it surging, and then demands it of their own leaders.
The American revolution is not over. The revolution only started in America. It can yet sweep the world.
This is about tyranny vrs freedom. It's a cultural battle of hearts and minds.
That is a banner the people of the entire world can get behind, and so far it still looks like an American flag.
And what do we do with all of the exposure? Realize we are getting fucked hard, and get depressed.
Yeah, that too. Demoralization.
You just have to dig in deeper I suppose.
Hard times make strong men.
Meanwhile, the weak ones are not finished their work yet.
Things got really bad in the ex Soviet Union before Russia finally began to bounce back. A good fifteen to twenty years of that. Daughters working the street corners.
Very succinct, A+ comment.
One of the biggest things I questioned about Trump is he seemed to elevate people who were against him. Like John Bolton. He had to know what Bolton was about, but he hired him anyways.
I was thinking about what happened there. Bolton may have been a peace gesture for the neocons. Trump needed GOP backing and it wasn't there.
They couldn't stop Trump head on, and he and his backers had taken them all by surprise. I think they tried to steal that election too, but the steal was intercepted by loyal military elements. So what next ? If you can't control the president you control the people around him. You can isolate and control the outcomes of the decisions.
The president is in charge of like 2 million employees. No one man can run that. Everything has to be delegated through the hierarchy, and thousands of people have to be appointed, in many cases vetted and approved. Where do we get these people? Well, through the existing hierarchy for the most part, and someone brings a list of candidates, and you select from that. So Trump removes someone from the bureaucracy, and then appoints the next civil servant in line. He should have brought in outsiders - his own people. Sometimes he did with great success.
I knew there was trouble as soon as I saw those who had brought Trump to the office were being purged out, one by one, and set aside. Later the FBI was attacking all of his people. Isolating him like Nixon. Like he was a crook. He should have fired them all right then and there. Count the bodies afterwards. Perhaps he was worried about impeachment.
Trump is selecting from a list, and the enemy controls the list, so Trump is appointing either one of their people, or someone irrelevant, but not one of his people. Then the appointees simply gum up the process. Like the Attorney Generals - Barr - funny business at the FBI and the DOJ. In the end even the military betrayed him and the country. The JCS. The final backstabber? Vice President Pence.
Trump ends up surrounded by a lot of people who are working against him behind the scenes, or even in some cases in open direct defiance. You just can't have that in any organization.
I don't think he realized that was going on, at least not at first. We all certainly underestimated the level of opposition and the lengths they would go to to overthrow him. In many ways it was a miracle that he achieved all that he did.
The fact remains, every president faces this same hurdle. There is simply too much for any one man to do. Notice how all of the presidents seem to rapidly age while they hold that office. The stress must be extreme, even for a stress junkie like Trump. Then, there are only so many days in office, and only so much can be done each day. It takes two to three years just to get the appointees filled. Before you know it, you are running for office again.
The reality of the Presidency is, without strong congressional backing, you might get one, or maybe up to three major initiatives launched, and maybe one accomplished, in your four year term. The political opposition has ways of throwing up roadblocks and eating up time, such that they can blind you, and isolate you from your own support. They run out the clock on you and that is what they did to Trump.
They pinned him in place with false accusations, blinded him and sabotaged his efforts by controlling the people around him, took out his actual supporters, and then ran out the clock. They are still working on all that now.
They don't want him ever coming back.
I really want a second Trump term. I think he'd go scorched earth.
