It’s only cold in the winter. You can fly to Florida lol.
The first couple months of cold is kinda fun. I like all the snow. Towards the end of winter though, I cannot wait for the first sprouts of spring.
Were I am is too damn hot. Hot and humid and I'm Eastern European and sweating like a pig.
How much is land typically up there? Is it a mad rush of buyers?

I lived in VT for a bit, it isn't so much that it is much colder than it is the lack of a nice hot summer. If I could afford it and my job allowed it I would have two homes, one in NH and one in FL or some warmer tax free state.
Depends on where you live tbh. If you’re in the northern part of the state, it can get much colder. The southern part is fairly typical with east coast weather though.
