I don't even know what this means. "To produce protection?" What is that? If you take the vax, maybe you won't get the virus, and if you do get the virus, maybe it won't be as bad? What kind of protection is that? That's like buying a coffee pot where the guarantee says, "maybe the water in the pot will get hot, some of the time."

It means that it will protect you from the virus' symptoms when you get it even though you're "vaccinated".
