You should do the math on having your wife stay at home with the kids, factor in economic things like reduction in costs due to lower vehicle usage, homemade meals vs pre-made meals/eating out, etc., along with overall quality of life and the fact that some stranger is essentially raising your kid(s).

It's only for 4 hours a day. But I agree. The wife really wants to work. Can't do much about it.
