What situation in the past twenty years do you draw from to have that much faith in your fellow countrymen?
In every case people wont act until there is nothing to lose. This goes for every sort of addict. It's not a moral ethical response its neuro physiological one. Like rubbing your elbow after you bang it into something. You can watch nigger populations and observe this daily.
I still think the response to having "nothing left to lose" is going to be compliance for the "chance" being given something to lose again... I hope you're right and I'm wrong though
We can look to the covid vaccination situation for inspiration. While compliance may reach 60% i doubt it will increase beyond that. It's very likely that pressure from multiple angles will cause the dam to fail before the pressure from any one specific direction does.
