Bitcoin will be like gold and land. hard to move. visible transfers. unobtanium for the most part. Something that is nearly impossible to get. There is no such thing as too late for crypto. Just buy solid altcoins that pay a dividend or are stakable. Atom, ADA, VET, DASH. others. Sit around and wait til they run like crazy and sell them into bitcoin. Understand this could take years and years and years. I mined some very early blocks of btc. Crypto takes time and lots of it. Bitcoin is already unobtanium compared to most fiat. It hasn't gotten warmed up yet.

This fucker is one of the most not-retarded guys in crypto that I can find. He is based and level headed. Kick back with a doob and listen to all his shit in order. There is not a lot and you will learn a lot. I kinda rolled the same thing he did with alts a few years back. Great stuff so far. It felt like he had read my fucking mind when I listened to his shit.
Watch out for the taxes. If you are buying with USD it would be a very VERY smart move for ya to simply buy Monero and Pirate coin at a non-kyc exchange like coinex. I have a lot of kyc exposure so the feds know I have a bag. I have considered selling everything into cash then re-buying into privacy coins to break their tracking but I fear I will jsut get more attention and look like a drug dealer.
Remember passive income is only taxed at 15%. Don't trade, build passive income in crypto. trading coins back and forth is fucking stupid.
As for big picture stuff If you have some extra money get some land somewhere. It could help you out in a bad situation. Something you can park a trailer on and live on for a few years on the cheap could be a life saver during a depression/civil war. I like to have metals, crypto and land. ... I wish I could sail and had a 40 foot liveaboard boat as well... not gonna lie.

Sounds like we're on the same page. I'm not interested in trading. I'm simply interested in not getting caught with a back 100% full of dick USD when the music stops.
I'm not rich but not broke. Have a successful profitable business, and I do pay some tax. Any crypto bought in the name of the business with its USD is 100% on the books and that's just how it's gonna be. I just try to keep taxes at reasonable levels. I see guys jumping through so many hoops to not pay taxes, they forget to run their damn businesses.
Anyway, as a techie with relatively cheap power costs, I'm already spinning a full node up and am going to participate in the lightning network for a few sats while I figure out the rest. I may buy a few old miners if they're available and see what happens. Even if it's slightly below "break even" that's profit if things continue to rise.
Appreciate your suggestions on the alts. Will always be interested in anything with actual utility and keeping an eye on decent entry points. Have a good one.
