On the morning of Sept 11, 2001, I did not own a television and worked in a small office. It was the pretend office of a stripper, who had become 'employed' by an investment banker, she was given a business to justify her payroll and I was her brothers stoner friend, I got a nonjob (at which I worked diligently) in that TINY office (rented room). On 9/11 I got a call from that banker, as I knew them both and was informed on the matter of his wife and what not to mention when she was around. We all went to lunch, a perk of the gig, he always paid and was the source of her luxury vehicle, and my own paycheck and her kids school, her condo, etc... She was a ghetto stripper, she won the hooker lottery and he won too. His wife probably pretty miffed lol. ANYWAY.... Mike calls me and says "Terrorists destroyed the world trade center" and I didnt even know yet. We went to lunch and I says out loud a phrase that shocked the nearby tables who all fell silent: "I wouldn't be surprised if our own government did it to advance some agenda we dont yet comprehend" imho, 19 years
