Of course it is...it's not meant to be anything but punitive. This is meant to embarrass and defame Trump, nothing more. It sends the message that you better not fuck with the left.
I was with a group of friends Saturday night and, of course, this topic came up. My contribution to the discussion was this:
Imagine what a Donald Trump with nothing to lose will be like. Let's say they find him guilty and bar him from ever holding federal office again. The gloves will not only be off, but they'll be thrown in the trash. There will be nothing stopping from going on his own TV network and saying whatever the hell he wants to. What else could they do to him?
With the power the left now has - they'll manufacture a crime and commit him that way. They'll have an FBI investigation and IRS audit to substantiate their claims...the left is not going to let this happen EVER again!
That will most definitely make him a martyr.
