You can buy all the parts for an 80% without a background check.
You can't sell a gun that you've made and is not serialized. It would take quite a bit of pulpil to justify how the commerce clause allows the feds to get involved in a gun that can't be sold. But then rule of law is long gone.
As with all things kiked, the law about gun making can be read many ways.
The idea is that "if you are in the business of selling guns" then an FFL and serialization is needed.
If you build your own gun from a block of aluminum and your friend wants to buy it, not an issue unless you start selling a bunch.
With private sales, there is still a lot of gray areas, and I'm sure fuckhead cuntmilla and sleepy joe will start to crack down on all of that.
I dont know about that, the ATF famously decided to go against the one company selling 80% jigs. Whilst it may be legal, the ATF will happily fuck shit up to make a point. Legality doesnt seem to matter anymore
You are correct that the ATF will make up their own rules for whatever they want, but the case regarding the 80% makers was that they were selling a "full kit" of everything, which meant only a little bit of work was needed to make the gun. This shouldn't be illegal at all, but in this case, it wasn't against Brownells or PSA or anyone selling lower part kits, etc. It was a fully stocked kit with an included 80% lower.
As this article points out they're happy to do things that are blatantly illegal.
Justice Roberts has already indicated that the domestic violence law is ridiculous, but someone would have to risk 10 years in prison to have standing to sue, then the faggot court would simply refuse to hear the case.
I cant wait until the white communities say fuck it, throw the table over and tell the gov to go fuck itself.
