Absolutely correct, rights are the laws that exist for lawmakers, its their side of the agreement in the social contract that is our government. If they break their terms, then our part of the terms are rendered null and void, this was the agreement. You gave no obligation of any kind to observe the laws of an illegitimate government, indeed, your responsibility as laid out in the contract is to remove this government from power by any means available to you, and to replace it with a new government that is willing to renew the terms of the social contract between rulers and subjects, or to draw up a new contract entirely.
