you dont need to patrol 100,000 acres you just patrol the 100 acres you live on... the rest is just a buffer so nobody wanders onto your property

is this a post apocalyptic society or in todays society. because if you hold a deed it wont become someone elses property. Unless the government didnt recognize your deed in which case why did you pay for the land at all?

Why you guys so lacking in real world experience?

Government and citizens can barely keep homeless squatters out of overgrown medians. Actually physically getting out there and patrolling land is hard, real hard.
