They expected young, radicalized men full of piss and vinegar ready to start a bloody revolution. They got low energy, popcorn popping and movie watching boomer grandmas instead. The utter disappointment they must have felt back at the office was probably off the chart.
It really shows when you look at the coverage of what happened in DC vs all the protests happening over the last four years.
