Very oddly different btw people. Some of the most animated people you've ever met will freeze, some of the most reserved people will go nuts. Most people are just struggling to process what's happening and reacting on information that almost feels late in retrospect. It's not about being some kinda macho hardass. Everyone panics at times, people just do it in such a wide variety of atypical ways you'd be surprised.
