the DOJ asked for the power to round people up and throw them in concentration camps with no trial or any due process for up to a year AFTER the emergency ends... This should concern everybody.
At least the shit that Phily and a few other cities are doing (catch and release criminals) had some semblance of logic if you don't think you have the infrastructure to hold everyone... but the DOJ argument is "we will not have the capability to run trials for everyone" ... but they think they will have plenty of capability to imprison every one? But trials are just too much work? They are literally asking for the authority to open up concentration camps.
