A buddy of mine sends his kids to a small Christian school that is open about why they don't accept Federal funds. They'd have to accept Federal mandates, if they did. It's expensive as hell but he and his wife think it's worth every penny.

I'm unsure if this school takes any money or not. I do know they do not accept vouchers which is nice. Generally speaking if you have to pay to send your child to a school like this you are invested in their development. It is more likely for the classmates to be the type of kids I want mine associating with.
